Due to popular demand, as of April 2009, I am now accepting commissions for knitwork. Things I can knit include:

• Hats (beanies, berets, crazy wacky hats)
• Scarves (striped, checkered, you name it!)
• Gloves/mittens
• Socks
• Plushies
• Bags (dice bags, felted market bags, etc.)
• Anything you can come up with, I will endeavor to provide

I can also knit anything from a pattern you provide. Yarn may be provided by you or purchased by me. Items will be knit in a smoke-free environment.

I can also offer complete CATS-style armwarmer, legwarmer, and tail sets!

This is what I get for not doing any facepaint in a little while. It seems that the Makeup category has been moved to a new Beauty subsection. When did this happen, such that I missed it so completely.

I'm not particularly thrilled, because a lot of my makeup doesn't have much to do with "beauty" in the traditional sense. Thoughts?

So my school's annual anime/scifi con, NonCon, is coming up in late February. I need to think of some cosplay for the contest, since my cat costume won't be accepted, as it's not very anime or scifi. So I'm trying to think of some character I can do with street clothes and face paint (I have no access to a sewing machine). Any ideas?

Some of you know that I am a computer science student. I recently decided that a good motivation for me to work on my own programming projects would be to start a blog to showcase my code. To that end, I have started a blog called Bits 'n Knits. bitsnknits.blogspot.com/ I hope people might come and take a look. One of my goals is to include lots of content that non-programmers will find interesting. I have some cool projects on there, including a quadratic calculator, a knitted hat, and a graphical slot machine game.

I have a bunch of deviations I mean to upload soon that are just sitting on my camera. I did makeup for a haunted house, for friends for Halloween, and I've been doing lots of crafting of knitting and chainmail, so expect a barrage from me soon!
